Russian President Vladimir Putin has acquired a new friend – a U.S. loyal politician. The Republican candidate Donald Trump is confident that if he is elected as the President of the United States, he will be able to find a common language with the Russian leader, in spite of difficulties in relations between the two countries, Joinfo.ua reports referring to NBC.
The U.S. presidential candidate expresed such an opinion during his visit to Scotland where he attended the British Open Golf Tournament.
“I think I’d get along very well with Vladimir Putin, yes. I just think so … He hates Obama, Obama hates him. We have unbelievably bad relationship,” said Trump.
He believes that the increase of tensions is associated with the work of the candidate for the presidency from the Democratic Party, Hillary Clinton, who had been the Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013.
