The Kremlin reports that the telephone conversation of Vladimir Putin and Mark Rutte took place at the initiative of the Dutch side, Joinfo.ua informs referring to the press service of the Kremlin.

“There was continued the discussion of the issues related to the investigation into the crash of the Malaysia Airlines plane in Ukraine that took place in July 2014. The President of Russia stressed the need for full implementation of Resolution 2166 of the UN Security Council adopted at the initiative of Russia on July 21, 2014, aimed at ensuring a comprehensive, thorough and independent investigation,” the Kremlin claims.

In addition, Putin and Rutte discussed the process of preparing a new UN Security Council resolution on the creation of the tribunal. Putin said that the project presented by Russia aims at facilitating the tasks outlined in Resolution 2166. “The Russian side deplored the fact that this compromise project had not been supported by the states, advocating the establishment of an international tribunal on the Boeing-777 crash,” the Kremlin reported.

It should be recalled that Eliot Higgins, the founder of the Bellingcat research project, told how any Internet user can verify that the Boeing-777 disaster over Donetsk involved militants and the Russian military.
