According to the analyst, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signals to the West that Ukraine needs its solidarity and the supply of 1,240 Javelin anti-tank systems, since Russia is preparing a large-scale invasion, Joinfo.ua reports.

“In my opinion, it is absolutely fair demand of the Ukrainian authorities, as Ukraine had lost its nuclear weapons in exchange for security guarantees,” he writes.

He believes that the words of the head of state suggest that he and his administration have a data packet about the impending large-scale invasion of the Russian aggressor in the territory of Ukraine.

“I personally am not a supporter of the theory of large-scale war due to a number of external strategic reasons, including the prospect of the tribunal on ‘777’, sanctions, Ukrainian internal defense potential, unipolar formation of world prices for oil, political isolation of the Russian leadership etc. but I would not exclude the possibility of invasion,” Nuss wrote.

The political analyst also notes that the consolidation of the nation, army and government is now vital to Ukraine.
