Russian daunts NATO to justify its aggression: Deputy Secretary-General

Russia invents some threats posed by NATO to justify its aggressive actions.

Russia’s statements about the Alliance allegedly building “iron curtain” in Europe is nothing but a myth, with the help of which it is trying to justify its aggression, Joinfo.ua reports referring to the statement by the Deputy Secretary-General of NATO Alexander Vershbow, posted on his page on Twitter.

“Claims that NATO is building a new Iron Curtain are more Russian myths. NATO’s vision if Europe whole, free and at peace,” Vershbow wrote.

“It is Russia that’s fabricating a NATO ‘threat’ to justify its aggressive actions and attempts to recreate sphere of influence,” Alexander Vershbow stressed.
