On his page on Instagram, the Russian Children’s Rights Commissioner Pavel Astakhov published information that Russia had sent a humanitarian convoy with school supplies to the Donbas, Joinfo.ua informs.

Also, Astakhov do not hesitate to call the territory of Ukraine occupied by the militants as Novorossia and Poroshenko as a tyrant.

“The humanitarian convoy with school supplies collected as part of our action ‘Day of Knowledge to Novorossia!” is approaching the border of Ukraine.

In Rostov, the cargo was increased and now the vehicles are carrying more than 260 tons of exercise books, pencils, pens, paints, books, playdough, pen-cases, rucksacks and backpacks as well as desks, blackboards, computers, projectors, school uniforms, sportswear and letters from children from different parts of Russia. Children of the Donbas will have a holiday – the Day of Knowledge,” Astakhov wrote.
