The claims of the society to the leadership of Russia headed by President Vladimir Putin will continue to grow like an avalanche. Such an opinion was expressed by the Russian oppositional leader Mikhail Khodorkovsky in an interview with Sobesednik, Joinfo.ua reports.
Khodorkovsky noted that “Russia is living long fifteen-, sixteen-year cycles.”
“I feel that Putin’s cycle will end at the end of 2015,” said Mikhail Khodorkovsky, noting, however, that “the end of the cycle does not mean his immediate resignation.”
“I think the most likely scenario is Putin’s victory in the elections in 2018 and his leave a year later,” said the opposition leader.
Earlier we reported that the Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to lure the former Italian Prime Minister Berlusconi with office and citizenship.
The Russian President Vladimir Putin offered the former prime minister of Italy Silvio Berlusconi Russian citizenship and the post of Minister of Economy.
The Kremlin, however, does not confirm the data of the Italian media. Responding on Thursday to the question of Interfax, the spokesman for President Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov, said: “As it is known, Putin and Berlusconi have long-standing friendship. They keep in touch with each other, and it is a truly friendly relationship. And in this particular case we are referring to figurative support of Berlusconi, and it should be taken exactly as the figurative support and not a formal offer to take a formal position, which of course is impossible. ”
