33rd Russian humanitarian convoy for the occupied Donbas came to the state border, informs the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to the Russian media.
After leaving the Don rescue center on its way to the border, the column was divided into two. “Some cars arrived at the checkpoint Matveyev Kurgan, another part at the Donetsk checkpoint, where the customs and border inspections have already begun. After their completion, two columns will continue moving to their destinations – to Donetsk and Luhansk,” said the Russian rescuers.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, Donetsk and Luhansk will receive more than 100 vehicles with more than 1,000 tons of humanitarian aid. The vehicles are delivering food, medicines and other essentials.
It is noteworthy that, judging by the actions of the militants, they accept only Russian illegal “humanitarian aid” sent without any permission of the Ukrainian authorities. Thus, recently the militants did not allow 255 tons of humanitarian aid from the Red Cross to enter the territory of the DPR.
