At a press conference after the BRICS summit, Vladimir Putin said that the sanctions had turned the global economy on its ear, Joinfo.ua reports.

“Such a tool as sanctions should be removed at all. It turns the whole economy on its ear,” Putin said.

According to Putin, “the Ukrainian question” was hardly discussed at the summit, but they spoke of Greece.

“Tsipras did not ask us for help, and the problem of Greece is not in money, but in the principles of the economy. Now the Greeks can be blamed for everything, but where was the European Commission, when Greece was going into this condition,” the Russian president said.

In addition, Putin said that the sanctions had turned the entire economy of the world on its ear.

“We are well aware of what is happening in Europe: slowdown of economic development, crisis in the eurozone due to the problems around Greece. The United States also has decline in growth. It is a known fact that there, for example, the level of debt already exceeds GDP. I’m afraid to make a mistake, but the country’s GDP is 17.8 trillion dollars, and the debt is 18.2,” said Putin.

The Russian President could not help but comment on his recent statement about him doing yoga.

“Yoga involves the way from the physical to the spiritual. Let us assume that so far, I’m going from the spiritual,” Putin told.

It should be recalled that in the network appeared the photos from the BRICS summit held in Ufa. The pictures show President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov from the funniest angles.
