Russian President Vladimir Putin may be brought to trial for abducting his Ukrainian counterpart Viktor Yanukovych. It is the opinion of the Russian financier and blogger Slava Rabinovich, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to Rabinovich’s post in Facebook.
“There is still one small question to Putin …
Putin and his OCG controlled the operation of abduction of legal (at that time) President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich. The reason was quite clear.
Putin himself gave evidence in this regard very publicly, in the detailed shots of the infamous film.
The question is: isn’t it called international terrorism? And if Yanukovych is now in the list of Interpol due to the crimes committed by him against Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, isn’t Putin and his organized crime group the accomplices of these and other crimes – including the abetting and concealment of the accused? And the fact of the abduction – it is legal, it is “accepted method of Putin’s diplomacy”? Or it is a real crime?
I think that Putin’s actions in relation to Yanukovych, which Putin himself describes to the camera, show clear offense – the abduction of the incumbent head of state.
It is for which court? For The Hague?” Rabinovich says.
