The famous blonde who has been zealously fighting for animal rights, addressed to the Russian President Vladimir Putin with an unexpected request. She urged him to close the Northeast Passage for the ship, which carries 1.700 tons of Fin whale meat from Iceland to Japan, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to Sea Shepherd Global.

In her letter Pamela also explained the importance of not letting the ship transit through Russian waters.

“I would like to make a personal request to you, on behalf of endangered Fin whales. At this moment there is a ship in Tromso, Norway called the Winter Bay. It is carrying a cargo of 1,700 tons of Fin whale meat. These whales were killed illegally in violation of the International Whaling Commission’s moratorium on commercial whaling.”

“I would like to respectfully ask you to consider investigating this shipment and to do what you can to prevent it from transiting to Japan an illegal cargo,” Anderson wrote.

The full text of the letter is published on the website of the charity organization.

The Western media already make sarcastic remarks about the fact that Pamela “found the man to ask for help…” Until now, President Vladimir Putin has not responded to the call of the woman.
