Finland protests against Russian aggression in Ukraine

People of Finland took to the streets to protest against the Russian aggression. At the rally, people recall the annexation of Crimea by Russia as a violation of the basic principles of the Helsinki Act.

On July 6, in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, is conducted a protest against the Russian aggression in Ukraine that accompanies the OSCE session.

In particular, a group of activists holding Ukrainian flags and posters are demanding termination of the Russian aggression in Ukraine, as well as liberation of the Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko from prison.

The session will run all week in Finlandia talo and one of the resolutions will be a resolution on the Russian aggression in Ukraine.

“There is recalled the annexation of Crimea by Russia as a violation of the basic principles of the Helsinki Act,” writes Andrii Olefirov, the Ambassador of Ukraine in Finland on his Twitter.
