The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine reports humanitarian catastrophe in occupied Luhansk and at the line of contact. It was told by Alexander Hug, the Deputy Chief of Mission, at today’s briefing, Joinfo.ua reports.
“We are observing deterioration in the humanitarian situation on the firing line,” Hug said.
According to him, the OSCE observers noticed travel restrictions at checkpoints, and deterioration of water supply in the occupied territory of the Luhansk region, in particular, in Alchevsk, Pervomaysk, Stakhanov.
Earlier, Iryna Herashchenko, an MP and Representative of the President of Ukraine on the peaceful settlement of the conflict in the Donbas said that the OSCE monitoring mission had provided incorrect reports about the situation on the contact line. She was referring to the so-called “humanitarian convoys,” obstinately provided by Moscow to the territory of Ukraine through the uncontrolled part of the Ukrainian-Russian border.
