Kazakhstan publishes a book about Nursultan Nazarbayev settling Ukrainian crisis

In Kazakhstan was presented a book "Peacemaker", which is devoted to the activity of Nursultan Nazarbayev aimed at facilitating the search for peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian crisis.

In the Kazakh Foreign Ministry was presented a book “Peacemaker”, which refers to the activities of the president of the country Nursultan Nazarbayev to find a solution to the Ukrainian crisis. The book covers the events starting from Maidan to the February meeting in the Normandy format in Minsk, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to Tengrinews.kz.

“The author of the book is Nurlan Onzhanov, a well-known Kazakh diplomat and Extraodinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan. He was directly involved in numerous talks between Nursultan Nazarbayev and his foreign colleagues on such a complex issue as the conflict in south-east Ukraine. The book is full of facts and acticles, excerpts from conversations of the President of Kazakhstan with the leaders of France, Germany, Russia, USA, Italy, Switzerland, Belarus and Ukraine itself,” the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan informed.

The authors emphasize that in the issue of the Ukrainian conflict Nazarbayev is driven by  a global idea of ​​preserving peace and enhancing mutual trust in the international community.

In addition, the book provides answers to such questions as: what or who facilitated the meeting of the leaders of the Customs Union, Ukraine and EU leadership on August 26, 2014? Why the meeting planned to be held on January 15, 2015 in Astana was held on February 11-12 in Minsk?
