The United States should not interfere in the financial crisis in Greece, says a billionaire and presidential candidate Donald Trump. He stated this in an interview for Fox Business, Joinfo.ua reports.
“I’d stay back a little bit. I would not get too involved. We are too involved in too many things. I would definitely stay back,” said Trump, responding to a question of what the U.S. needs to do in a pre-default state of Greece.
He believes that the U.S. should not forget that “the whole euro situation” was made to compete against the United States.
“Germany is very powerful, very strong. I’d let Germany handle it. Germany will take care of it. Frankly, Putin probably comes in to save the day if Germany doesn’t. So, I think that Greece is going to be in a better shape than people think,” said Trump, adding that the United States could not be in every fight.
Earlier we reported that the economic crisis in Greece has forced the Europeans to buy up gold because of the need to find at least some kind of alternative to the euro.
