According to the analyst, Moscow is on the verge of a geostrategic defeat and President Vladimir Putin is aware of it. It confirms that Ukraine and its allies are coordinated and do not set themselves up for defeat, Joinfo.ua reports.

Nuss recalled that Canada and the United States had imposed additional sanctions against Russia. In particular, Washington included another five oil companies of the Russian federation in the embargo list.

“These actions are absolutely logical only if Putin’s call to the White House was far from friendly, and was an ultimatum. Apparently, Vladimir Putin is so frightened by economic situation in the country, that the call was not planned but improvised, on own initiative of the dictator, during which he demanded the lifting of sanctions otherwise … there would be escalation. In response, he received additional repressions, and, in my opinion, these sanctions of friendly Canada and our main military and political ally – America – will not complete the sanctions stage. They will be followed by the EU, Japan, and most likely, China,” the analyst said.

He believes that the Ukrainian and American administrations have an agreement on the supply of lethal weapons in case of escalation of Moscow’s aggression. In addition, Nuss says that during the closed meeting in the office of NATO, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Poltorak had received a clear signal about the possibility of delivery of modern weapons to Ukraine.

“But the discussion concerned broader range of issues, supply of aviation is possible,” the political analyst said.

It should be recalled that in an interview with the Italian edition Corriere della Sera, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that Russian President Vladimir Putin continued to send military equipment to Ukraine.
