Nadiya Savchenko worries that the lives of her lawyers are endangered, Joinfo.ua reports.

“I fear for the lives and freedom of my defenders Feygin, Polozov, and Novikov in the Russian Federation due to protection of me,” Savchenko said.

According to her, legal institutions in Russia have no meaning as such, because the law absolutely doesn’t work in the country.

“I decided to complete the familiarization with the criminal case on July 2, 2015, using one month, from June 2 to July 2, 2015 for the whole process of familiarization. I do not consider it necessary to spend more time of my life in prison on familiarization. I take responsibility for all the procedural consequences, because I believe that legal institutions in Russia have no meaning as such, since in Russia the law does not work,” Savchenko said.
