Commenting on the current situation in the Donbas and what the news from the LPR and DPR report on the situation on the front, Dmitry Snegiryov said that now there was no reason to believe that President Putin would go on the offensive on Ukraine, Joinfo.ua reports reference to Espreso TV.

“Despite all the predictions that June 22 had to be a sacred date for Putin and that the offensive were supposed to take place – it did not. Moreover, it will not take place in the near future. And what is happening in the ATO, I mean activation of the militants, is, in fact, a decrease in intensity, they just use heavy weapons.

There are local centers. But it is not an activation, on the contrary, it is a transition to trench warfare.

And the fate of the DPR and LPR is already determined. Ukraine is completing the line of demarcation, as an element of the state border. And then it will dictate its terms to the DPR and LPR,” Snegiryov said.
