This is announced in the statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Joinfo.ua reports.
The relevant threats were voiced to Alex Van Meuvenu, the Ambassador of Belgium to Russia.
"The Ambassador of Belgium was told that the Russian side considers such actions by the competent authorities of the Kingdom of Belgium as an openly unfriendly act, a gross violation of the universally recognized norms of international law and in this regard demands from the Belgian side to take immediate measures to restore the sovereign rights of the Russian Federation violated in Belgium, and to ensure the normal functioning of the Russian institutions and legal entities," the statement reads.
Otherwise, the Russian side threatens to consider the adoption of measures in respect of the property of Belgium located in the Russian Federation, including the property of the Belgian embassy in Moscow, as well as its legal entities.
Earlier, we reported that Belgium arrested all the property of Russia on June 17 and today France as well as Austria followed suit.
