During NATO's Baltops-15 exercise in the Baltic Sea an amphibian transporter belonging to the Polish army sank.

During the exercise in Ustka, an amphibian transporter belonging to Poland sank, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to the Polish TV.

Three soldiers were able to evacuate and get to the shore. The vehicle will be drawn from the bottom after completion of the exercise.

It should be recalled that the Baltops-15 exercise is being held in Poland and the Baltic States since June 5. The exercise is participated by more than 40 ships and 5,000 soldiers from 17 countries – Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, the Netherlands, Canada, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Turkey, UK and USA. This year is the first time that the Baltops exercise is held without the participation of Russia.
