NATO officially declares that any threat from Russia is nought

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and General Philip Breedlove believe that although Russia, along with ISIL are a major threat to the Alliance, NATO is able to overcome any aggression on the part of the Russian Federation.

NATO officially declares that any threat from Russia is nought

By force of habit from the Cold War, Russia constantly challenges NATO dividing the world into good (itself and its allies) and bad (NATO countries). And the aggression of the Russian Federation is permanent. But NATO is able to resist this aggression. It was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and U.S. General Philip Breedlove, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to The Wall Street Journal.

Military experts believe that Allied Shield, a series of NATO exercises, will show that the Alliance is able to deploy the armed forces anywhere in the territory of the bloc in a few days if there is a threat to the allied countries.

Breedlove and Stoltenberg stressed that the need for such military exercises had increased due to the changes in the world.

After the Cold War, the world plunged into a new era of freedom, democracy and international law, when the level of international cooperation was on top. And that gave prosperity to billions of people around the world. But today Russia is challenging the world order in the East as well as the ISIL is in the South. The threat of terrorist attacks has grown and the territorial integrity of states is being violated.

So NATO will make decisions with lightning speed and will implement them just as quickly.
