Ukraine officially complains to OSCE about Russian smuggling humanitarian convoys

Apart from the Trilateral Contact Group, yesterday Minsk hosted the sub-working groups on political, humanitarian, and security issues.

At the meeting of the humanitarian subgroup, Ukraine provided the OSCE with the facts of permanent Russia's violations of international norms during the delivery of the so-called "humanitarian convoys" to the Donbas. It was informed by the representative of Ukraine in this subgroup Iryna Herashchenko on her Facebook, Joinfo.ua reports.

According to her, this week Russia is preparing the 30th humanitarian convoy to send to the occupied territory and the international community should adequately respond to this violation of the Ukrainian borders.

It should be recalled that at the meeting of the Contact Group in Minsk, Russia ignored all proposals of the Ukrainian side, and did not made any constructive proposal on its own. Ukraine proposed the plan on demilitarization of Shyrokine and the Donetsk airport area. It was suggested to set up checkpoints on the demarcation line and establish cooperation between the Contact Group and the International Red Cross.
