The Ukrainian side showed them the proof of the Russian regular army presence in Ukraine.
The White House officials were informed on the situation in the ATO area and on the fact of the Russian Armed Forces's participation in the developments first in Crimea, and then in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. It was emphasized that it was the Russian special services in cooperation with the Armed Forces, who provoke instability and inspire subversive activities of illegal armed formations on the territory of Ukraine and are responsible for the delivery of small arms and heavy weapons to the terrorists.
In response, the U.S. party expressed clear understanding of the Russian military presence in the east of Ukraine, expressed support for the Ukrainian people in their struggle for territorial integrity and independence of the state.
