Rebellion in Donetsk: 500 people demand to withdraw military equipment from city

Complicated humanitarian situation in Donetsk is exacerbated by regular bombardments from residential neighborhoods carried out by the occupants. Today, near the building of the Regional State Administration is held a meeting of the villagers from Oktyabrsky, Joinfo.ua reports.

The protesters, who are under regular shelling, have blocked Artem Street.

“There is neither one-man command, nor common demand. Someone asks to withdraw the military equipment from the residential areas, others demand to attack the Ukrainian Army,” the journalist Andrey Borodulin comments on the situation on his Twitter.

The protesters were visited by Alexander Zakharchenko, the so-called “head” of the “DPR”, who promised that the residents of the Oktyabrsky village would receive accommodation in safe areas of the city.

Oktyabrsky is located in the Kuibyshev region of Donetsk. Being the outskirts of the city, the village regularly suffers from heavy artillery shelling.
