The Russian "humanitarian convoy" for the Donbas arrived at the state border, the Russian media reports referring to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
Traditionally, after leaving the Don Rescue Center, on the route to the border the column was divided into two. "One part of the vehicles arrived at the Matveyev Kurgan checkpoint, the second part – at the Donetsk checkpoint, where the customs and border inspections already started. When the check-up is completed, two columns will continue to move to their destination – Donetsk and Luhansk," the ministry reported.
According to the Russian rescue workers, Donetsk and Luhansk will receive more than 100 vehicles with 1,000 tons of "humanitarian" aid. It includes food and basic necessities.
It should be noted that this is the 29th in a row Russian "humanitarian convoy" for the Donbas.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian "humanitarian convoy" heading from Moscow to Donetsk, had a massive car accident on the M-4 Don highway in the Voronezh region.
