Klimkin and Steinmeier to discuss both Minsk Agreement and war in Donbas

Today, on June 4, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin will visit Berlin, where he will hold talks with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

Today Klimkin and Steinmeier will discuss the implementation of the Minsk Agreement, considering the fighting in Marinka and Krasnohorivka, as well as the number of dead and wounded in the ranks of the Ukrainian army and among the Russian-terrorist troops, Joinfo.ua reports referring to the Foreign Ministry of Germany.

"Along with the development of German-Ukrainian relations, the talks will focus on the realization of the Minsk agreements on the settlement of the conflict in the east of Ukraine, as well as the reforms of the Ukrainian government," the report says.

The meeting will be held in the building of the German Foreign Ministry. Afterwards, the ministers are expected to speak to reporters.

It should be recalled that on June 3 morning, the militants stormed Marinka and Krasnohorivka. Thousands of militants are trying to break into Marinka and accumulate forces near Krasnohorivka. The militants from the residential areas of Donetsk were delivering fire provoking the Armed Forces of Ukraine to strike back.

Subsequently, the General Staff allowed the Ukrainian artillery "to respond" to the firing. The Ukrainian soldiers received reinforcement. The militants are trying to jam communications, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine respond adequately, evacuate the dead and wounded. Nobody is going to give up on Marinka.
