The Russian government complains about the shortage of parts for the construction of military vehicles. Today, on June 3, Dmitry Rogozin, the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, said that the country could not complete the construction of a number of vehicles for the needs of the Navy because of the suspension of the gas-turbine power units supply from Ukraine, reports Joinfo.ua citing Russian media.
According to him, under the plan of import phase-out Russia is planning to begin production in 186 positions.
"Primarily, it is gas-turbine units," he said, stressing that the work should be completed by 2018.
It should be recalled that that in November last year, the Zaporizhia Motor Sich plant completely stopped exporting small gas turbine engines for cruise missiles to Russia.
