Near the border between the Ukrainian village of Marchyhyna Buda and the Russian village of Hinel, servicemen of the Svesa department of the Sumy detachment intercepted a horse-drawn cart driven by a citizen of Ukraine, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to the press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
The arrested 47-year-old Ukrainian admitted that he tried to export 8 bags of meat to Russia. For such a trick the man will follow proceeding in court.
The State Border Service of Ukraine added that the meat would be sent to the Sumy customhouse.
It should be recalled that on April 14, five meters from the state border of Ukraine guards detained a Ukrainian, who was trying to smuggle about a ton of lard to Russia in his UAZ car.
