G7 to please Putin with new sanctions in June

Earnest said that at the summit in June the Great Seven would discuss new sanctions against the Russian Federation since "G7 is very involved in the process related to the sanctions," Joinfo.ua reports referring to 5 Kanal.

According to him, Russia has already paid a high price for the violation of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, but this price will increase until the Kremlin reconsiders its policy.

It should be recalled that the next summit of the G7 countries will be held on June 7-8. The U.S., Canada, UK, Germany, France, Italy and Japan will meet at the end of the next week at the Castle Elmau in the Bavarian Alps. Earlier, the G7 has already threatened Russia with new sanctions.

In turn, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that the Russian government would soon make a decision regarding the extension of retaliatory sanctions against a number of countries. Thus, the Russian Federation is thinking whether it will be able survive with sanctions against the whole world.
