It is stated in the Declaration they adopted, published on the website of the Verkhovna Rada, Joinfo.ua reports.

Members of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly urged to "restore full and effective control over the Ukrainian-Russian border, and also to create conditions for the implementation of this control in Ukraine."

In addition, the participants condemned the "acts of aggression of the Russian Federation, namely the illegal annexation of Crimea in 2014 and military aggression in the east of Ukraine, which took place in violation of international law and have jeopardized the security of the region and Europe as a whole."

It should be recalled that on May 28-30, Volodymyr Groysman, the head of the Ukrainian Parliament, is on a working visit in Lithuania.
