German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier assured the Ukrainian side of further support, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to DW.
The head of the German Foreign Ministry expressed his devotion to Ukraine last night in Berlin. According to him, implementation of necessary reforms "needs strong political will in Kyiv, as well as active and continuous support on the part of the international community."
He stressed that Ukraine were facing "crucial days and weeks" to get politically and economically stable future, and Germany would support the course of the Ukrainian authorities.
At the same time, Steinmeier expressed concern about the continuing conflict with pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine.
"Constant ceasefire violations continue to pose a risk of a new escalation of the conflict," the German diplomat said. He believes that the development of events in the Donbas can neutralize all the efforts to defuse tensions in the region.
