General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine tells why Russia gives up on its prisoners

According to Ruslan Kavatsyuk, the Advisor to the Chief of the Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the news from the ATO says that with all the evidence of its presence in the Donbas, the Armed Forces of Russia are cowardly trying to hide it. Even so, the Armed Forces of Ukraine can not start counter attack, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to Hromadske TV.

"We know that at three o'clock in the morning, after the capture of the military from the Russian Main Intelligence Directorate, they quickly escaped from Ukraine on a plane.

They do not admit that their soldiers are detained in Ukraine. If they are detained, the Russians themselves will try to kill them, so they are not taken alive.

We do have different positions. The Ukrainian side does not attack. Given that it is the Ukrainian land, there is the Minsk Agreement, we do not go to the occupied territories.

Ukraine is a state of law. And there are certain actions that go beyond the limits of international law. And we hope, the time comes and the people, who make these decisions now, will sit in the dock," said Kavatsyuk.
