OSCE Mission flies over Donbas and registers Strela-10 anti-missile system on territory controlled by militants

Unmanned aerial vehicles of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission registered a Strela-10 surface-to-air missile system in the occupied territory of the Donbas. This was announced by the OSCE Deputy Chief Monitor Alexander Hug at the briefing.

According to Hug, with the help of the drone, OSCE mission registered a Strela-10 surface-to-air missile system on the territory controlled by the militants, Joinfo.ua reports.

The OSCE Deputy Chief Monitor notes that so far, none of the parties to the conflict has fulfilled obligations regarding the withdrawal of heavy weapons.

He added that in general, the intensity of the shelling in the last week had decreased. However, Shyrokine, the area around the airport of Donetsk, Horlivka and other places remain restless.

It should be recalled that on May 18, Dnepr-1 reconnaissance regiment of special purpose found and videotaped another Strela-10 missile system belonging to the militants.

Strela-10m2 missile system is designed to destroy air targets at low altitudes.
