Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the DPR and LPR should remain part of Ukraine. He said this in an interview for Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Joinfo.ua reports.

"At all levels – by the mouth of President of Russia and in other formats – we say that we are for them (DPR and LPR – Ed.) to become part of Ukraine," said Lavrov.

"They have presented they own draft constitution. There they refer to the status precisely provided by the Minsk agreements: the republics will be part of Ukraine and hold constitutional reform to entrench this status on permanent basis. The document deciphers what decentralization means. And in Minsk it was wrote personally by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande," said Lavrov.
