PayPal blocks collection of money for publication of Nemtsov’s report ‘Putin. War’

The PayPal payment service has blocked the account for collecting funds for the publication of the report made by Boris Nemtsov titled "Putin. War."

The company said they did not offer the opportunity to use the system for collection of donations for political purposes, Joinfo.ua reports referring to the press service of PayPal.

"PayPal does not offer the opportunity to use the system for collecting funds to finance the activities of political parties or for political aimes in Russia," the press-service reports.

The fact that PayPal blocked the account was announced by the politician Ilya Yashin. He said that the funds collected would not be lost, but people would no longer be able to transfer money on that account. Fundraising is still running on the platform of Yandex.Money.

It should be recalled that on May 12, in the office of the Republican Party of Russia – People's Freedom Party (RPR-PARNAS) was held the presentation of the report "Putin. War" prepared by Boris Nemtsov. It proves the presence of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine and the economic losses suffered by Russia in the conflict in the east of Ukraine.

14 printing houses refused to print Nemtsov's report. Only one printing house agreed to print it on condition of anonymity.
