Border guards tell what 26th humanitarian convoy from Russia delivers

Oleh Slobodian, the deputy head of the State Border Service of Ukraine, reported that 101 vehicles of the humanitarian convoy entered the territory of Ukraine without examination, as usual, Joinfo.ua informs.

"Russia issued a pass for the "humanitarian convoy" at its checkpoints on a unilateral basis. There were 2 columns for a total of 101 trucks. Neither the Red Cross nor the Ukrainian border guards took part in the vehicle platooning. The Ukrainian interdepartmental group exercised control over cargo only by visual observation. Neither weapons nor other military cargo was visually observed," said Slobodian.

According to the Russian side, after crossing the border the convoy will be divided into two parts.

The first one will go to the Donetsk region, another one – to Luhansk. It should be recalled that all the previous convoys crossing the Ukrainian border violated international norms.
