Norway allocates

Norway will allocate ? 5 million of humanitarian assistance to displaced people from the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. It was announced by Borge Brende, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway, at a briefing in Kharkiv after the meeting with the leadership of the local state administration.

According to Brende, Norway will transfer 5 million euros to the Red Cross, the organization "Save the Children" and other communities helping displaced people from the ATO area, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to UNIAN.

The Minister said that Norway would continue to assist Ukraine. He stressed it was necessary to increase the amount of humanitarian supplies from the UN, since at the moment the organization met only 20% of requests from Ukraine.

According to Norwegian diplomats, Ukraine will be granted 35 million euros of aid to various sectors of the economy.

It should be recalled that according to the interdepartmental coordination staff, the number of internally displaced people from occupied Crimea and Donbas reaches 854, 474 people.
