It was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko at the meeting of European leaders in Gdansk on commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the victory over Nazism in Europe, Joinfo.ua reports.
"On May 9 in Moscow will be held a parade, where there will be shown the weapons used today in Donetsk. Ukraine rejected the invitation to take part in this parade," said the President.
President Poroshenko stressed that the militants in Donetsk continue to violate the Minsk agreements.
"Despite all the Minsk agreements, in two days in the Donbas will be held a parade, just in a few hundred meters from the demarcation line," said Poroshenko.
The President drew a parallel between the current situation in Ukraine and the crimes of World War II.
"Today we have to do everything not to repeat the mistakes of 30s, a full-scale conflict in Europe now seems closer than ever before," he said.
