The LPR authorities invited U.S. President Barack Obama to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Victory in World War II in the self-proclaimed "Luhansk People's Republic," said Vitaly Kiselyov, Deputy Commander of the people's militia of LPR, Joinfo.ua reports.
"We sent an e-mail and handed invitations to a number of international organizations, including the OSCE, the Red Cross, the United Nations. We send invitations to Barack Obama and all the rest. Let them come and watch," said Kiselyov.
"We invited foreign observers for a reason. They should see that we are not some kind of a gang, who eat children, as they say, but hard-working people, who defend their right to freedom, as 70 years ago," he said.
Meanwhile, the LPR militants continue to violate the Minsk Agreement, firing the positions of the ATO forces.
