According to Alexander Hug, the Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) in Ukraine, at tomorrow's meeting in Minsk, there are expected the first meetings of four working groups of the Trilateral Contact Group, Joinfo.ua reports.
Ertugrul Apakan, the Chief Monitor of the SMM, and Alexander Hug will participate in the working group on security on behalf of the OSCE.
According to Hug, the plan proposed by the SMM suggests demilitarization of Shyrokine, and the plan of the Joint Center for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCC) provides withdrawal of tanks and guns under 100 millimeters along the line of contact.
"I guess that one or both of these plans will fall on the negotiating table and we will have a possible solution," said Hug.
Earlier, we reported that the leaders of the so-called "DPR" and "LPR" Zakharchenko and Plotnitsky refused to take part in the meeting in Minsk, although they were invited. According to the Russian media, they are going to send their representatives to Minsk.
