French President Francois Hollande says that his country does not consider the issue of granting Ukraine lethal weapons as Kyiv has not made such a request, the Day news agency reports.
"There will be no deliveries, because there was no appeal to us and so far, France does not intend to provide lethal weapons," he said at the joint press conference with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in Paris on Wednesday.
Poroshenko confirmed that Ukraine had not addressed to France with such a request for lethal weapons.
"I again emphasize that so far, Ukraine has not addressed to France with a request to receive lethal weapons. There was no such intention," he said.
