Plane carrying President of Serbia has engine failure

During the flight to the Vatican, the plane of Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic, had to return to Belgrade because of engine failure.

Tomislav Nikolic had to come to the Vatican with an official visit, but after an hour of flight the government Falcon 50 jet, flying at 10 thousand meter altitude, suddenly began to fall. According to the pilot, one of the engines failed, Joinfo.ua reports referring to the Serbian media reports.

Pilots managed to regain control over the plane and return to Belgrade.

"It was only thanks to your pilot's great professionalism and exceptional skill that a tragedy has been avoided. Believe me, we were at one point literally dropping like a rock," says presidential advisor Stanislava Pak, who accompanied Nikolic.

It turned out that this was not the first breakdown of the government Falcon 50 plane, manufactured in 1981.
