Foreign ministers arrive in Brussels for Normandy talks

Today in Brussels, there will start the negotiations of the foreign ministers in the Normandy format. They will discuss implementation of the Minsk agreements.

Negotiations will be held at the Borsig Villa, belonging to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Joinfo.ua reports. As it is known, the negotiations will be attended by the foreign ministers Frank-Walter Steinmeier (Germany), Laurent Fabius (France), Pablo Klimkin (Ukraine) and Sergei Lavrov (Russian).

It is expected that the results of this meeting will be the main topic of discussion at the G7 summit, which will begin on Tuesday, April 14 in Lubeck under the chairmanship of Germany in the G7.

According to Andriy Melnyk, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany, at about 1:00 pm Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin has already arrived in Germany.

It should be recalled that earlier, the Ministry of Foreign of Germany named the conditions for the return of the Russian Federation into the G8: a return is possible in the event of respect of unity of Ukraine and Russian implementation of obligations under the Minsk Agreement.
