Ukraine to start cooperating with NATO in information and intelligence

Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk told about the intentions of the state to sign an agreement on cooperation with NATO in the field of communication, information, and intelligence.

According to Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the government intends to start cooperating with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in the field of communication, information, and intelligence. He stated this at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Joinfo.ua reports.

"The government has decided to sign a memorandum of understanding between the Government of Ukraine and the NATO Communications and Information Agency concerning cooperation on consultation, control, communications, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance within NATO's Partnership for Peace Program," Yatsenyuk announced.

The government also plans to approve an agreement with NATO on cooperation in implementation of the four trust projects, including in the field of military-technical cooperation, communication, and new information technologies.
