For the first time in history Polish president to address Ukrainian parliament

Today, President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski will arrive to Ukraine with a two-day visit.

It is expected that today, April 8, Komorowski will hold talks with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. The next day, Bronislaw Komorowski, will deliver a speech before the Ukrainian deputies. This will be the first ever address of the Polish President in the Verkhovna Rada, Joinfo.ua reports referring to Polskie Radio.

In addition, April 9, Komorowski and Poroshenko will participate in the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of the Katyn tragedy in the territory of the State memorial to the victims of totalitarianism in Bykivnia. The ceremony will also be attended by several hundred Poles – representatives of the Katyn families, military and representatives of the local Polish minority.

Also on April 9, Komorowski will meet with Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
