Ukrainian pilot and MP Nadiya Savchenko, illegally detained in the Matrosskaya tishina detention facility on charges of involvement in the deaths of the RTR journalists, suspended her strike. It was announced by Yelizaveta Glinka, a member of the Council of the Russian President for Human Rights, who visited the prisoner, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to the media Russia.
Glinka said Savchenko felt well. "Her condition is better than it was last time, but it is far from normal," she said.
It should be recalled that in early March, Nadiya Savchenko changed the mode of the hunger strike and agreed to eat chicken broth.
Later, however, she resumed the hunger strike in order to respect herself. She suspended the strike for 10 days, and then said she would starve until her return to Ukraine.
