State Duma suggests not to let foreigners criticizing Putin in social networks enter Russia

Censorship in Russia reaches great heights - the State Duma came up with a proposal to ban entry to the Russian Federation for the foreigners, who say bad thing about Russia in social networks.

Censorship in Russia is not a news, but reality, which is constantly gaining momentum. In the government circles there was a proposal to prohibit entry to the Russian Federation for the foreigners, who negatively speak about Russia in social networks, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to the Russian media.

The relevant amendments to the law will be introduced by Alexey Zhuravlyov, the State Duma deputy from the United Russia faction. Thus, he proposes to give Roskomnadzor the right to create a list of unreliable foreigners, basing on monitoring of media and social networks.

Based on this information, it is supposed to prohibit these guests to enter the Russian territory. "Some of the fairly famous people, in particular, from Ukraine, come to Russia after they tried to discredit it as much as possible, and get a job. Moreover, they get a job in such structures that can shape public opinion and influence the policy of the Russian state," explained Zhuravlyov.

Thus, he is referring to the new NTV channel host – Daniil Grachyov, who had lived in Ukraine, and criticized the actions of the Russian invaders on his pages on social networks.
