According to Komorowski, returning from Tunisia, he will visit Kyiv, as well as the cemetery in Bykivnia on the anniversary of the Katyn tragedy, Joinfo.ua reports referring to Polskie Radio.
He stressed that the visit will have "purely Ukrainian and Polish character." Komorowski added that this would be his last foreign trip before the presidential election on May 10.
It should be recalled that at the Polish military cemetery in Bykivnia, which was opened in 2012, there had been buried almost 3.5 thousand Polish citizens from the so-called Ukrainian Katyn list, killed in 1940 by the NKVD stuff (The People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs). This is the fourth cemetery, after the cemeteries in Katyn forest, the Midne village, and Kharkiv opened in 2000.
