Bundestag ratifies Association Agreement between EU and Ukraine

Today, March 26, Bundestag ratified the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union.

Today, March 26, German Parliament, the Bundestag, ratified the Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine, Joinfo.ua reports.

"The ratification of the Association Agreement is a new level for the countries, but it requires many reforms and changes," said German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

At this meeting of the Bundestag there will also be ratified the agreements between the EU and Moldova and Georgia.

Earlier it was reported that Volodymyr Groysman, a Speaker for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, went to Germany to attend the ratification of the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine.

"The first day of my official visit to Germany. There were held meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Mr. Steinmeier, President of the Bundesrat, Mr. Bouffier, President of the Bundestag, Mr. Lammert, and German deputies. We discussed many topics – how to effectively organize the work of the Ukrainian parliament, how to speed up reforms in Ukraine, how to stop the aggression against Ukraine," said Groysman.
