Prime Minister of Holland blows off Putin and his Victory Parade

Following the example of Merkel, Cameron, and Obama, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte does not plan to arrive in Moscow for the May 9 Victory Day parade.

Along with Rutte, the representatives of the Dutch government refused to attend the parade in Moscow too, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to the De Volkskrant news agency.

It should be recalled that seven European leaders reported their refusal to visit Russia to celebrate Victory Day. In particular, President of Slovakia Andrej Kiska, Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite, Latvian President Andris Berzins, President of Estonia Toomas Hendrik Ilves, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski, and Prime Minister David Cameron.

Moreover, U.S. President Barack Obama and President of the European Council Donald Tusk will not attend the parade too.

At the same time, the Kremlin declared loudly that more than 30 countries, including some European leaders confirmed their presence. Thus, Lavrov called several names, among them – President of the Czech Republic, Prime Minister of Slovakia, Prime Minister of Greece, and President of Cyprus.
