LPR militants do not allow pensioners and children leave for peaceful territories of Ukraine

Buses with refugees, who wanted to leave the LPR and go to the peaceful Ukrainian territories, are returned back under the threat.

According to latest information, the news of Novorussia report that yesterday, buses with pensioners and children wanted to leave the LPR and go to the peaceful territories. But the militants at the checkpoint interfered with them, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to the issue of Novaya Gazeta.

A photographer, author of Novaya Gazeta and volunteer Victoriia Ivleva was detained at a checkpoint in the village of Stanytsia Luhanska.

"Ivleva was held in the village for about 4 hours before she was released. A bus with refugees was sent back to the territory of the self-proclaimed People's Republic of Luhansk.

Victoriia was detained at a checkpoint when she was accompanying a bus with refugees, heading for a peaceful territory of Ukraine. There were 45-46 people, mostly mothers with children and retired people.

The militants seized Victoriia's cell phone with two SIM cards, memory card from her camera, money and all documents, including phone book, address books, lists of essential drugs for health facilities, and lists of people prepared to travel," the newspaper writes.
